Knowledge is an essential part of your entire process, from your pre-production all the way through your ongoing R&D. Getting started can be daunting, but we are here to help. We're ready and willing to share knowledge on every step on the journey. 10 years ago, very few wood shops in North America could produce European-style Tilt and Turn Windows and Lift-and-Slide doors. Information about how to reliably source sub-components was scarce and incomplete, and there was nowhere to learn the joinery skills and processes required to make them. We changed that when we founded Alpine Technical Workshops, the first place to get comprehensive knowledge and training.
Seeing how Alpine equipped woodworkers to achieve their goals inspired us. Since then, we've made sharing knowledge the core of what we do. Whether it's online, in person, or when woodworkers speak to us on the phone, we make it our first priority to equip our clients with the facts they need to solve problems. If we don't have the answer, then chances are we can connect you with the people who can help.
The Rangate Advantage
No other experience prepares woodworkers to succeed building solid wood doors and windows like Alpine Workshops. We partnered to found Alpine to create a place to build the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the market. The pioneering workshops cover every aspect of building, assembling, and finishing solid wood windows and doors. Because class sizes are capped at 5, each attendee receives in-depth, personalized instruction on the topics most important to them. The Alpine experience goes beyond joinery to include candid answers about sourcing subcomponents which are totally independent and have no financial relationship to any vendor. Alpiners build an easy camaraderie with each other, and return home with new connections and friendships from all over the country.
We work across the industry to share in-depth window and door joinery knowledge at free events across North America, every year. Our events are never sales-driven; we're confident once attendees get a chance to speak with us, they'll feel confident about choosing us as the right partner when they're ready to begin.
